Poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other gamblers attain five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a sum equal to the initial bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays money equal to your wager and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
